Hi - thanks for sharing the strategic planning mindmap. its nicely laid out. My personal preference is to start with 1. Where are you going (which would include the ESCAN or PEST, Vision Mission Values, then switch to Key Success Measures, then I would do the where are we now ( which would include the SWOT. Then its about bridging the gap from where we now to where we want to go. I wouldnt get bogged down in where we are now - all that matters to get the thinking going is where you want to go - within reason :)
