About the presenter

Rich Vitaris
Richard is an administrative judge with the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), an independent agency within the Executive Branch of the U.S. Federal Government. The MSPB adjudicates employment law disputes between the U.S. Government and its 2 million civilian employees. Richard benefits from mind mapping around 2–3 times a week, after stumbling upon a website for Novamind about 15 years ago, which then sparked his fascination the idea of mind mapping. Examples of his use of mind mapping include summarising case law, analysing complex legal issues, preparing to draft legal decisions, judicial training presentations, and to aid in alternative dispute resolution.
