What Smart Students Know - 12 Principles

In 1993 Adam Robinson, Co-founder of the Princeton Review, wrote a book called What Smart Students Know. The remarkable thing about this book is that it shows students (and anyone interested in learning) how to take full control of their education. He helps students take control of their education through 12 principles. I created a mindmap to capture these 12 principles and what they mean.

While teachers tell you what you have to learn, how you learn that material is your business. Adapt situations to your learning needs, not the other way around. No teacher, no matter how gifted or dedicated, knows how you think and process information better than you do. Thanks for sharing this, I know a couple of principles as I'm tutor at https://myhomeworkhelp.com/. Learning does not end when the bell rings or you grab your diploma. Learning is the stuff of life. The alternative to questioning, grasping, and moving forward every day of your life is much more restful but far less exciting and gratifying. It takes courage and hard work to tackle the unknown, bu teach time you do it will be easier and less frightening. Thanks

Ist richtig. So muss es im Ideal funktionieren. Leider, dass die meisten Studenten über diese Prinzipien gar nichts gehört haben.
