With just one month to go until our “Complexity to Clarity” training workshop in Oxford, now is the time to secure your place for a full day of immersive and interactive mind map training with the Biggerplate team on Saturday 11 April. Places are limited, secure your place today!

What will the training cover?

Our flagship “Complexity to Clarity” workshop contains all of the most important things we’ve learned about mind mapping over nearly 20 years of running Biggerplate. The day is structured around 4 key focus areas: Complexity, Clarity, Planning, Productivity.

Mind mapping is a technique that sits perfectly in the centre of these 4 intersecting topics, and therefore mastering this one skill will help you tackle complexity, support creativity, streamline planning, and improve productivity. The result is an enhanced sense of Clarity in the key areas of your life.

The day starts with an exploration of key mind mapping Principles, and then moves through our four focus areas: Complexity, Creativity, Planning, and Productivity, with strong (and intentional) overlap between each.

This workshop will have you working on real ideas, projects, challenges and opportunities from your own life throughout, using mind mapping techniques and tips provided by Liam Hughes (Founder: Biggerplate) to support your thinking, both individually and in groups.

Along the way, we’ll also be discussing the wide world of mind mapping software tools as well as the benefits (and risks) of AI mind mapping.

Who is the training for?

Anyone (over age 18) is welcome to join, but we think this workshop will be particularly useful if any of the following apply to you:

You are a Trainer, Consultant, Facilitator or Coach who wants to help clients obtain clarity through better brainstorming, structured discussions, and effective collaboration.

You manage projects in your work, but without necessarily having any “official” project management training or qualifications. You need lightweight, easy to use planning and project management techniques to help you stay on top of things.

You are involved in a small business or startup where you wear many hats through the day, and need to balance big picture thinking with staying on top of daily actions across multiple domains.

Whether you’re totally new to mind mapping, or an experienced mapper, this training will provide you with practical tips to improve your skills and simple techniques you can apply immediately.

Where is the training workshop?

The workshop will take place in the historic city of Oxford, at the Leonardo Royal Oxford hotel.

Biggerplate was founded in Oxford in 2008 and we’re excited to welcome you to our hometown!

Known as the “City of Dreaming Spires”, Oxford is the perfect city for a short break, with walkable streets bursting with beautiful college buildings and history, as well as a vibrant array of pubs, shops and restaurants, so why not make a long weekend of it?!

Oxford is easily accessible by train, and parking is available at the hotel for those who drive.

When is the training workshop?

This one day workshop is on Saturday 11 April, from 09:00 am to 16:30 pm.

How much does the training cost?

This full one day workshop costs £179 per person, and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
