Poems to Study

Someone asked me what were the top 10 poems a person of 12-16 should study. That's too limiting, but I limited it to ten authors.

Caveats: there are no long poems (Paradise Lost, Divine Comedy, Dunciad, Prelude, Leaves of Grass, Four Quartets), although those are incredibly important. I limited my list to lyric poems. I also didn't include Shakespeare, as his best work is in the plays rather than the sonnets.
