The role of the modern facility manager is far-reaching and complex covering many technical disciplines and requiring a wide-ranging set of competences. However most non-FM people only see the tip of the facilities iceberg. This mindmap can be used to demonstrate the full remit of facilities management. I have been updating the map every few months since 2006 to capture the continued evolution of the profession and to make use of the improved functionality of mindmapping software.
