• A mind map visualization of the Revised Admiralty Source Reliability and Information Credibility Rating System and its application using 5WH on an event timeline.
• Since its initial development in the 1940s during World War Two, the original UK Admiralty rating system for source reliability and information credibility remained unchanged in its original form until 2006.
• Revisions to this rating system first began appearing in 2006 in U.S., NATO and other national military doctrinal and open-source publications have begun to make useful improvements to this (now) seven-decade-old rating system.
• This revised and updated version of the original UK Admiralty rating system serves to allow users to better choose and identify the reliability of their sources and credibility of those sources’ information. (See attached document for further details)
