This is the map of a Chinese lesson about the so-called "compound directional complements". The original Powerpoint was 54 pages long. The map helps me to get the gist of the matter. A printout is handy to bring anywhere. The keywords refer to the examples given in class; so do the images. For instance, the image of a sunrise refers to an example sentence given by the teacher. I resisted the urge to write the full sentence. The map doesn't replace my memory; it supports it. When examples were related, the same pictures were chosen. This map certainly can be improved upon. As it is, though, I find it a useful study aid.
