Conditions that exist or may arise at or around a facility, and which could lead to undesirable incidents, are collectively known as hazards.   HAZID is the process of evaluating a facility to identify what the hazards and potential undesirable incidents are, given the nature of the equipment, materials, processes and activities within and surrounding that facility.   Operator should employ the HAZID process (and specific techniques for HAZID) which is appropriate to the specific facility, and which involves a range of employees who have knowledge of relevant aspects of that facility 4Whats is a process that encourages workers to identify hazards associated with ALL tasks before starting a job. It helps to promote a hazard management culture through continual self evaluation
