Join our three module series to go further with mind mapping…

We’re excited to announce the return of our popular “Complexity to Clarity” mind map training in July, with a newly streamlined 3 module format covering all you need to know to tackle complexity, enhance creativity, power up planning, and boost productivity! The series kicks off on 7 July with Module 1: Principles & Process and access to all sessions is included with Biggerplate Plus membership. Not a Biggerplate Plus member yet? Upgrade today!

What’s Changed?

After 5 public deliveries of our 5 module training series over the last 12 months, we’ve worked hard to refine the content down to reduce the total number of sessions from 5, down to 3. Our experience over the last year shows that many people managed to join 3 out of 5 sessions, but only a small number were able to join all 5 sessions. We know that 5 x 90 minute webinars is a lot to ask of people, and so we’ve been working hard to refine the content into 3 x 90 minute sessions instead, which we hope will further increase participation and engagement with the content and concepts.

The sessions build upon each other, and we continue to offer encouragement and incentive to join all sessions, with people who participate live in 2 sessions receiving access to all recordings, and a FREE Biggerplate Certification assessment.

Who is it for?

We’ve been delighted to see a mix of experienced mind mappers and beginners joining these sessions over the last year. For new mind mappers, it’s a chance to learn essential tips and best practices that can speed up the learning curve and help you reap the benefits of mind mapping sooner. For experienced mind mappers, the sessions prompt them to rethink and review their mapping habits, with use cases and concepts to extend their use of mind mapping techniques.

Here’s what an experienced mind mapper said of the series:

Whether you are a novice or experienced mind mapper, there is a valuable learning experience in the "Complexity to Clarity" series. The modules are packed with actionable principles and real-world applications.” - - John Hipsley (member since 2010)

Whether you’re just getting started with mind mapping, or a seasoned veteran, we think you’ll find something in these sessions to help you go further with mind mapping…

Module 1: Principles & Process

In this live session you will learn core principles for effective mind mapping, whether creating mind maps by hand or using software. You'll learn the key characteristics of a mind map (vs other types of visual diagram) and our recommended best practice for the mind mapping process. We'll also explore the pros and cons of software mind mapping, and provide tips on choosing the right mind mapping software from the many tools available. Register here (requires Biggerplate Plus membership)

Module 2: Complexity & Clarity

In this live session you will learn how mind mapping can help you tackle complexity and support creative thinking both individually and in groups. You'll learn how a "Make to Know" mindset combined with mind mapping techniques can help you get unstuck, and how mind mapping can support better brainstorming and creative thinking processes. Register here (requires Biggerplate Plus membership)

Module 3: Planning & Productivity

In this live session you will learn to take control of projects and planning, leveraging mind mapping techniques to help you build better project plans and turn ideas into action. You will learn how and when to convert "thinking maps" into "planning maps", and how to use mind mapping as your productivity "control centre" for managing focus and action across multiple domains and projects.  Register here (requires Biggerplate Plus membership)
